We have over fifty years combined experience at
setting up chassis. When you bring your car into AC we go over it from front to
back. We align front the front end, set caster, camber and toe in. We also check
strut/ shock settings and bumpsteer. When we move to the rear we triangulate the
rearend, set the wishbone/track locator, and set the pinion angle. If neccesary
we do a plot map of the instant center and adjust it accordingly. Before we set
the shocks we give all the rodends and suspension components a thorough
inspection. We then place the car on our scales with the drivers weight inside
and set the preload using both front and rear corners to make sure the car sits
flat with the correct preload. Billed per hour but averages about $180.00.
Repairs and parts if neccesary are extra.
Pre-purchase inspection
We've all seen it too many times. You buy your
dream car only to find out it's not what the guy said it was. From bad
craftsmanship to outright lies we can tell you exactly what you are buying. We
schedule a time that both parties can meet at our shop and we inspect the entire
car for legality, for purpose, and for safety. We only answer the build
questions, we do not appraise, or negotiate prices, we only make sure everyone
knows what they have. Cost: $200.00
Track Rentals
We will send one person per 5 cars to one of the
following tracks for track rentals (Norwalk, Milan,Bunker Hill, Muncie, Marion
County, Oceola, for $400.00. This includes us bringing our scales and basic
tools to adjust each car. We carefully watch and record each run. After we
discuss the problems we make the neccesary changes to each car and run the car
again. We will do this as many times as we need to in the normal 5 hour window.
At only $80.00 each this is a great value to have a personal chassis tuner for a
day.
