These third member housings are made from billet 6061 aluminum and weight just 24lbs., compared to the cast iron version which weighs 49lbs. All third members come with a billet pinion support, 7075 aluminum main bearing caps, carrier adjusters, replaceable pinion support and load bolt.

This billet case has added material in weak points of the stock casting making this stronger than the original housing.
